Sophia Mazaleski

Biography

Sophia graduated with a Bachelor’s in Sociology and Criminal Justice from King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, PA. She has worked in the human services field in Northeastern Pennsylvania and Philadelphia areas for over five years. Her work experience includes working as a Mentor with the King’s College Juvenile Justice Mentoring Program, Blended Case Manager and Family Home-Based Case Manager/Therapist with Children’s Service Center, and Truancy Case Manager for CORA Services, Inc., in Philadelphia, PA. Sophia is passionate about helping children and their families and finds fulfillment in advocating for them.

Sophia has earned certifications in the Prepared Renter Education Program (PREP) through the Self Determination Housing Project of PA, Employment Services for People with Disabilities through the Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE), and Community Participation Supports (CPS) through the PA Office of Development Programs.
